Staff verification

1. Staff Authentication

The Staff Verification feature helps prevent hacked staff accounts from damaging your server and/or limiting your actions. By using facial biometrics for verification, you ensure that only authorized staff members can access administrative functions.
  1. You can select the roles that need to be authenticated by GamerSafer verification. Available roles will be displayed in the section, and you can choose which roles need to be verified. If the roles are not appearing, place the bot's role in the server above the roles you want to manage.
  2. Once a role is selected, it will appear in the “Staff Role(s) active”. This section allows you to configure the verification settings for the selected roles.

Remember to place the GS Defender role above any roles it needs to assign, and refresh the page to see the new roles!

2. Staff Role(s) active

This section allows you to configure the verification settings for the selected roles, such as expiration time and adding or removing staff members.
  1. After selecting the role, click on the gear icon to configure the verification settings for that role. Here is the explained configuration list:
    • Enable Staff Role Expiration: Check this option to require regular re-verification for staff members.
    • Set Verification Frequency: Specify the frequency in hours at which staff members need to verify themselves. For example, setting this to 24 hours means staff members need to verify every 24 hours.
    • Add Staff Members: You can add specific staff members to this role by searching and selecting their usernames.
    • Remove Staff Members: You can remove specific staff members from this role by clicking the "X" on the right side of their name.
  2. Click “Save changes” to save the settings. Now these roles can verify.
  3. Verify by following these steps to see how to complete the verification process.

3. Age confidence

The Age Confidence feature allows you to set the security and trust level of the bot based on the user's declared age. This feature ensures that your community can manage access and permissions based on the perceived age of users, adding an additional layer of security and control.
